Scope and accountability

Trusthoo Inc. is responsible for personal information under its control. We manage personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

Our Privacy Officer is responsible for overseeing this policy and responding to privacy questions, access requests, and complaints.

Information we collect

We collect information that you choose to provide when you contact us, including your name, work email address, organization, area of interest, and the project information included in your message.

Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, pages requested, and diagnostic or security logs. We do not ask you to submit sensitive, confidential, export-controlled, or security-sensitive project information through the initial contact form.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Review and respond to project inquiries.
• Understand requested engineering services and determine appropriate next steps.
• Maintain business records and communicate about an engagement you request.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

We collect only the information reasonably needed for these purposes. We do not sell personal information or use contact inquiries for third-party advertising.

We retain inquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate a potential engagement, maintain appropriate business records, and satisfy legal obligations. Information that is no longer required is securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized where appropriate.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your privacy choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask questions about how it has been used or disclosed, or withdraw consent for future use where consent is the legal basis for processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed and may limit our ability to respond to your inquiry.

This website does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising. If our practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or consent mechanism required by law.
